On the 30th of October, the QUT (Queensland University of Technology) Design Exhibition, a celebratory event featuring the projects us graduating design students have been working on this semester. The event showcased the works of both Interaction and Visual Communication designers, filling the rooms with exquisite, high-quality works that captivated the attendees.

I was one of the featured designers, showcasing my capstone project PostMarked. The brand revolves around augmented reality stamp stickers, with the first line featuring five stamps. Each one is representative of a city around the world. The stamps act as a time capsule for your travels as you can upload your own photos and videos onto it to view in AR. Each stamp is also accompanied by a collection of digital assets which are used within the PostMarked app. The purpose of the brand is to promote travel and encourage interpersonal self-reflection. This brand identity encapsulates everything I am passionate about within the field of design.

This exhibition is an amazing way to round off the past four years. I was able to talk to industry partners, academic supervisors and fellow peers about the outstanding work everyone was able to achieve during this semester. I loved being exposed to so much creativity and innovation that was found at every booth.

A big thank you to all the academic supervisors, QUT coordinators, industry partners and Anastasia Tyurina for organising such a momentous event. I cannot wait to see what the future generation of designers achieve.
